Thanks for stopping by. I'm Sean, a long-time Asia denizen - Canada-bred, Singapore permanent resident, British and Irish citizen, nearly had an H1-B at one time.
For my first major moto trip - Singapore around much of continental SE Asia - I wanted to create a digital journal, like many I read and appreciate, to track and share info about my travels. That basic Wix site evolved into Terraxplor, now in its 3rd iteration as of early 2025. I get a lot of good tips from fellow enthusiasts and I hope my trip reports and info are useful to anyone on the same path.

I've been an expat for over 30-years, mostly in Asia, with 25-years experience in tech marketing. I consider myself lucky to have lived and worked in Canada, USA, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, Singapore and Thailand, and to have traveled extensively around the world.

In mid- 2022 I "switched gears", and went on hiatus from my tech career (permanently now, it seems - no worries ) to pursue my newfound passions for motorcycle adventure and scuba diving. Since then I've been on the road extensively in SE Asia and the Pacific Northwest and began a new seasonal career as a PADI dive pro in Thailand. ​​
