After one night, rolled out of Cameron in a foggy drizzle. First up was a huge traffic jam for about 10km, then onto some decent mountain road and back onto freeway halfway to Penang.
It was great to return to Penang after 30 years. And my Penang bred ex-colleague Alfred drove up from KL to hang-out and show me around. Great eats and drinks.
As I missed my 30k service in Singapore, wanted to get it done in Penang. I found El Chong Motorrad and booked a time. Though El Chong was one hour out of the city, and I had some concerns about costs given it's a BMW dealership, they managed to deliver amazing service and low price. Bike left in much better shape.
I stayed 3 nights in Penang, had a great time. Rode around the island.
